finally

Okay, I have no good excuses for this new page being so slow.  Nothing about it was hard.  I just . . . couldn't get myself to draw it, for some reason.

A ha ha!  The return of Jordan.  Did you miss him?  I don't think Sarah did.  I've forgotten how to draw his hair.  And, oh noes, it's (sort of) a cliffhanger!  Did Jordan fail to fulfill his half of the bargain?  Will Sarah incinerate him as punishment?  And where's Xavandra?  (Actually, I just didn't feel like drawing her in this page.  She's off to the side -- I promise!).

it's been a wretched week

I drew this for you in five minutes in Paint.  With a mouse.  How do people draw with a mouse?  His arm looks broken, but it's not supposed to be.

Yup.

durp

Gaaaaah, I have to stop nitpicking this page and just call it done!  I had a vision in my head of how I wanted it to be.  It still looks off-balance, but I give up.  It's good enough.  I have to get on to the next page already!

Back to school next week.  Updates will continue to be as often as I get a page done -- as close to once a week as I can.

yo

Page will be up this evening.  Page is up now.  :)  Sorry for the long delay.  Why do I always think I'll have free time over the holidays?

trying to return to once a week updates

Alrighty, so I only have one final left.  It's hard not to start celebrating the break already.  But see -- as soon as I get some free time, what do I do?  I finish a new page!

Anyone else ever play this one ancient QBasic game called "Nibbles"?  It's basically the classic snake-eats-numbers-and-tail-gets-longer game.  Anyway, your snake is named Sammy, and you have a choice of three speeds:  Laughable, Yet Quietly Pathetic; Zippier Than a Really Zippy Thing; and Whoa! Twiddlefingers!  With faster computer clock speeds, the faster speeds of the game are now unplayable.  On Twiddlefingers speed, you're lucky if you can even change direction once before Sammy crashes into a wall, and the game says to you:  "Sammy dies.  Happy now?"

I have fond memories of that game.  :)

Anyway, about the comic . . . anything I need to say?  Yes, that is Gerquentrude wandering about.  They're back where they last saved.
