I went a little crazy with the poses, so I'm still working on #136 this week.
But the best news is that drawing the comic is FUN again! :) I was feeling stressed from CPA studying, so drawing the comic just felt like more work. But tonight, I realized that I was thoroughly enjoying myself (and agonizing over minute details that no one will ever notice, of course, but that's normal for my perfectionism).
And I saw the Hobbit, so now I'm drawing a lot of elves on random scraps of paper. Sorry, there are no elves in Off the Walkthrough. Unless Kiaron counts. But he doesn't, really. And we'll get Espers eventually, but not for a while yet. They kind of look like elves.
Yeah, I'm rambling. Sorry. Later!

return of the CPA exam
Hi y'alls. I am still alive, mostly. As an update, I have my last (hopefully) CPA exam coming up in two weeks. Nothing saps my will to draw like a CPA exam. :P
Also, I'm going to be switching hosting. If all goes well, you won't see even a blip. If it doesn't go well . . . rest assured, it'll be back online soon.
And also, I just played through the Mario RPG game for the first time. It was pretty fun. My favorite thing about the game was the "hurly gloves" -- Bowser literally picks up Mario and throws him at enemies! Hysterical! My least favorite thing was all the reliance on coordination. Ugh, there were too many sections where you have to hold down the run button AND hit the jump button at just the right time to make it onto a platform. It always took me a million tries to get through those.
Anyway, I would like to update next week, but don't hold your breath. The comic is one of my new year's resolutions, but the CPA exam has to come first. So, until next time! Have an awesome week!

#135
Hi, hope you all had a good month! It pains me to say it, but this will probably be the last comic of 2012. I was hoping to do better, but optimism > reality.
Anyhoo, the crew is back outdoors and I'm back to a green palette. I like green.
One more CPA exam to go. Wish me luck! I haven't had much desire to draw lately, and I think that is a big contributing factor. I'm not worried (about the drawing apathy) because it has happened before, and I know it will pass eventually. Much comic left.
Happy New Year! I wish you a bright future full of grand adventures and beautiful dreams!
Until next page.

134
Hey, hey! I was hoping to finish this in a week like the last 2, but I needed more time. Please admire the complexity of the middle panel. I beg of you. I even took a screenshot to try to show how out of control the line art was getting.
Say bye to Beatrice! We won't see her again for a while. If ever. The heroes have more important things to do -- villains to defeat, worlds to save! Yeah, she might show up again, but I make no guarantees. But I sure liked her outfit.
But yes, this means that this is the END OF A SCENE!!!! This scene only lasted . . . 7 months. :P Yeah, but my work schedule has changed, so I have more time around my computer. *hugs computer* *also hugs husband* So, I can start being hopeful that the plot might get somewhere interesting by the end of the year. Yeah, I only have 10 more weeks to the year, and I doubt I can do an update every week but . . . yeah, if I can get to the next landmark moment, I will be quite pleased. It will be a minor landmark, but still. :)

133 is already up!
Yay!!!! Kermit the Frog hands!!!
I am thrilled at how fast I got this one done, and how well it turned out. Of course, I had a lot of time at home this weekend, which always helps.
And I also had my husband watching over my shoulder, giving advice and totally encouraging me to finish it up. Thank you, my dear! :) He is going to be starting his webcomic sometime soon as well, and I am going to promote it all over the place as soon as he does.
Oh yes, and I hope this revelation about Darron explains all his earlier awkwardness relating to Norland. ;) Heh heh heh.
Later, peeps! :)

132!
Woo, it is totally still September in some time zones!
This is ridiculous though. A whole month between updates?! :P
Eh, slow updates are better than no updates, right? Life is crazy lately. But that's life.
And special thanks to all the lovely people who keep encouraging me to work on this. :) I'll finish the story someday, I promise!
Until next time!
