Anyway, they're back in Orchard again.  Time to go ask Thuban for help again.  Guys, seriously, you're embarrassing yourselves that you can't even remember his name.

First page of 2016!  Woohoo!  And not much is happening -- sorry -- but the page is necessary for some semblance of pacing.  But I think it does a fairly good job of summarizing their trip, though.  ;)

I actually went back to prior pages to remind myself what landscapes I'd used.  So this is even sort of internally consistent.  I don't remember how I drew that grass before, but I found a good way that is probably faster.  And oh man, my old artwork makes me cringe!  Ugh, maybe I'll retouch the old pages someday . . . when the comic is finished.  :P

157 and Happy New Year!

Well, we're ending this year on a good note.  Two updates in December.  That's a total of 11 for this year -- not bad compared to last year.  My goal for the new year will be at least 13, and try to do two a month as often as I can.  We'll see how that goes.

And the team has a plan now.  Yay!  Surely things can only get better.  *devioussmile*

Just as an aside, I've played a game that glitches.  When you're in the final dungeon, you have the ability to teleport back out and restock on various supplies and healing items.  But if you teleport out once you've reached a certain point in the dungeon . . . you're hosed.  You can walk all the way back, but you can't get back in the door.  No solution.  You have to restart the whole game.  So you understand where Elliot's coming from.  Since he can't just restart his game, he has to get it right the first time.

Well, I missed October due to Halloween costumes, and I missed November due to NaNoWriMo.  My final word count was only about 30,000 words, but that was much better than I did the last few years!

But anyway, I thought it would be great if I could pull off a double update in December.  The month is half over, and here's the first page . . . let's see if I can finish the next page before 2016 rolls around!

Anyway, Kiaron just effectively shut down Elliott's last good argument.  Are the heroes actually going to have to put up with Kiaron?!  Oh noes!!

Anyway, this page was delayed because of Halloween costumes.  And because of Halloween costumes, I'm not even going to start page 156 until said costumes are completed. Sorry, but I can only handle so much insanity at once.  I'll post pictures of the costumes though.  :)

Also, if you were wondering why he didn't just magic explode the heroes into oblivion again, it's because he decided to keep them around a little longer in case he had questions.

He has lots of questions now.  :)
