And we're back!  That was a shorter hiatus than I was expecting -- my recovery from baby number 2 was much faster than for baby number 1.

And the drama continues!  Updates might still be a little drawn out because . . . you know . . . baby.

One more page done!  Yay!  Those magic effects were crazy to figure out and to draw.  Bad Thuban!  Complicating up my comic pages!

For those whom I haven't told in person, there will be an unavoidable hiatus coming up, starting some time in November and continuing . . . until at least February, probably.  Really, until I feel well enough and have things under control enough to update again.

So, sorry (sort of) in advance for whatever dreadful cliffhanger the comic stops on.  ;)

Heeeeeey, Thuban!  We're back!

While this is technically not late, the page has been 75% complete since the end of March.  It's taken me until now to complete the remaining 25%.  So I'm officially announcing now that my eyes are giving me a lot of trouble, and so I can only spend a few minutes at a time on the computer.  I would like the monthly updates to continue, but the schedule has to officially drop to "as often as I am able to complete a page."

The last panel seems very strange to me, and I've decided it's because Kiaron just feels out of place in the group.  As well he should.  :)  Also, he looks short next to Darron, which is also true.  Maybe Sarah is slightly too large for her positioning, BUT OH WELL I'M NOT CHANGING IT NOW!

I can't explain why, but I found it so easy to draw this next page.  I scripted out the next dozen or so, and then I guess it just got me all fired up.  In fact, I even went ridiculously detailed on Thuban's house!  Seriously!  I don't even know why, there's no good reason for all that detail in a comic where lots of things are just scribbles . . .  :P

I'm sure there's a good reason the house is always surrounded by dark clouds.  Weather spell gone wrong or something like that.
