Woo!  Only a little more than a week since my last page!

Of course, this page was just super easy and fun to draw!  It's too bad I had to cover up Darron's face, because I really like how the expression turned out.

Let me introduce Chad's companions in panel two.  First is the Dark Knight (anyone want to suggest a real name for him?).  Next is Liam, whom I borrowed from a completely unrelated story and stuck in here just because when I went to start sketching character designs, the page I was using had a sketch of his head.  The third guy, and obvious leader, is Saber.  He's so much of a show off that he has TWO swords instead of just one.  Any resemblance to Chrono is blatantly deliberate totally coincidental.

I'm telling you all this now because it won't be important later.  Probably.

Anyhoo, Happy Groundhog's Day, and here's hoping that we all wake up and tomorrow is February 3rd!  Because if it's not, any progress I make on my comic pages will keep getting reset over and over and over...  ;)

Whew.  Sorry, I stalled for a couple of weeks on this one.  Perfectionism kicking in again, sigh.

But a couple of things.  First, I promise that I did not originally intend to use that terrible joke.  I was going to name the strip something boring.  But then . . . inspiration struck.  ;)

Second, I didn't notice at first that I accidentally entered all the dialogue in a smaller font size.  By the time I noticed, I had the dialogue just the way I wanted and didn't want to cut anything.  So please, please let me know if the dialogue is too small/hard-to-read for anyone.

Way too many characters and way too much detail!!!  But, it turned out pretty decently.

Um . . . okay, that was longer than I thought.  I had a pretty stressful time with work, started getting severe migraines, and by the time all that was sorted out . . . I was pretty well out of the habit of making comics.  For months, apparently.  Wow.

Also, I was suffering from severe dissatisfaction with my script for the upcoming pages.  But a couple days ago, I decided to change it from being serious to being absurd, and that seems to have fixed the problems.

Thanks again to all you awesome people who still check my comic occasionally!  I'll do my best not to disappoint you!

Out of town work, insane dress rehearsal schedule, recovering from dance performance.  That's my last few weeks.  Page is coming, but I don't think I can promise it by this weekend.

Okay, so it took me slightly more than 2 weeks, but not by much.  I think this is a doable schedule.  Well, at least I hope so.  :)  Yay for gradually progressing story!

Elliot is very proud of the fact that they are on their way to kill Kiaron.  He was hoping to get some experience fighting those guards, too.  Sarah spoils all his fun!

The next few pages are part of a sequence, so I have to write and sketch them all at the same time.  This might actually cause delays for the next update, since I'm still struggling with exactly what I want the characters to say.  Without resorting to a Wall of Text.  I never read Walls of Text, especially if they're about the mythology of a story.  The font is always really tiny, and I find I can still enjoy the story just fine without those extra details.

But anyway, I gotta go.  I'll check back in in two weeks!  Have an awesome May!
